It's a lot of family fun and a really good value if you do a bit of homework *wink*.

A bottle of hand sanitizer is a good idea too, especially if you are taking little ones. 2 good things about this Dillon's location (besides being good food) is that there it's located next to the shark tanks and there is a Groupon for them too! Most of the park is cash only for the cafes and rides and you'll want some quarters for the food dispensers in some of the habitats as well (especially the giraffes!). The youngest wasn't brave enough to touch anything herself but sure was curious! At the end of the day, we swung into Dillon's (onsite) for some good BBQ. We also go to see the babies!!! The aquarium has lots of great tanks, sea lions, otters and a few hands on stations that we enjoyed as well. Our favorite is the train and the giraffe feeding stations! Overall, the zoo and the aquarium has grown quite a bit since our last visit, which makes the trips feel a lot more worth it - it's probably 3 times the size it was before. Now that the weather has finally settled down a bit, you have a few more hours of animal viewing time before they retreat to the shadows.

Get there early when the animals are still having brekkie and the crowds are a little lighter. We used Groupon for our admissions and saved a good penny doing so.
